What Is Truth?

Jesus answered, "You are right in saying I am a king. In fact, for this reason I was born, and for this I came into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me." What is the truth?" Pilate asked. (John 18:37-38)

Isaiah's Warning, "Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter." (Isaiah 5:20)

Another Warning, "The Spirit clearly says that in the latter times some will depart from the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons." Paul's word further speaks of those who believe and know the truth. In other words knowing the truth should keep one from being deceived. (I Timothy 4:1-5)
