God's Promises, We Can Not Live Without Them.

II Peter 1:3-4
"His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness. Through these He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires." My dear friend let us experience God's Divine Promises.

The 4 stages every promise will travel through to fulfillment:

  1. Knowing the Promise! - Is it Limited or General?
  2. What are the conditions that you need to meet?
  3. To every promise, there will be a time of testing which lies between you setting your heart (claiming) the promise and its fulfillment.
  4. Experiencing the promise: Living in its fulfillment: Who receives the glory?

THE PROMISE! - God Will Guide Your Steps; He Has A Plan For Your Life: Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV); "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."

  1. Are you praying for direction in your life? Are there other promises on God's guidance that you are standing on?
    a)  Psalm 25:5, 9
    b)  John 10:4
    c)  John 16:3

  2. What are the conditions that are attached to the Promise on Guidance in Prov.3:5-6?
    1. Trust in the Lord with all your heart. What does trust in your heart mean?   Deut.6:5
Trusting in God is a conscious dependence on God! There are many scriptures where one truly trust in God and received the promise.
    2. Lean not on your own understanding. This means not relying on someone else or on something other than God; Pride, Skill, Idols...
Lean on God; Psalm 31:3  and  II Sam 22:29
    3. Acknowledge Him. It means get to know Him in the process of living, fellowship with Him.
      Amos 3:3
      I John 1:5-7
  3. What will be the kind of test you will face until the fulfillment of God's promise to you? Be prepared for the tests:
    a)  Fear
    b)  Impatience
    c)  Circumstances
    d)  Other people
    e)   name other test ____________________

  4. Praising God for the fulfillment of the promise!
    a)  Give Him the Glory
    b)  Share your Testimony
    c)  Help others to believe

God bless you in your study of God's promises, they are "YES" in Jesus Christ.
